The Invisible Injury show is a curated group art show exploring the challenges and triumphs of artists who are working with or affected by a disability that is inherently unseeable to others. This call is inclusive to all artists.
The exhibition will explore and expose unique perspectives gained by artists living with sudden, unexpected and non-obvious limitations, and will feature themes of isolation, hiding, revealing, expression, adaptation and triumph.

CRITERIA
Open call to artists with art work informed or inspired by the theme.
Fine Art in all media is eligible, including 3 dimensional work.
To be eligible, work must relate to the theme of Invisible Injury.
Please submit a brief artist’s statement, no more than 200 words with each entry. You may submit the same statement for multiple entries, but please include with each. Make sure to include how your Invisible Injury informs the submitted work.
Submissions of images must be received by no later than March 30, 2018, 11:59pm.
Artists will be notified of application acceptance results no later than April 5, 2018 via email.
Must be able to deliver work to gallery space in Santa Monica, CA.
Specific drop off and pick up dates and instructions will be emailed to accepted artists.
Gallery is not responsible for shipping costs to or from the event.
